7 habits for more productive twenties

When we look back at our twenties, we know that we would do certain things differently if we could go back.

In this post, I talk about career, study, and personal growth. I think it’s never too late to start something new. This post can apply to any age.

So, which things to start implementing in your twenties to get the most out of them?

1. Learn about finance

Start learning about saving and investing money. Enroll in courses about money management and read books about it.

Start getting to know the financial market. Broaden your horizons about money. Start considering other sources of income in addition to regular employment.

2. Start investing money

As soon as possible, start saving and investing a part of your income. No matter how small that amount may be in the beginning.

Start learning about where and how to invest money.

3. Change your Uni course if necessary

If you really start to feel that you are forcing yourself with your studies and that you would like to study something else, try and change your Uni course if that’s supported in your country.

However, know that it’s a big decision and it has to be thought through very deeply.

4. Getting a lot of work experience

Start working as soon as possible and get as much work experience as possible. It’s the only way to know what you want to do later in life when you’ll be choosing your career.

5. Start discovering your talents and setting goals

Start to really think about what you want to do in your life. What you’re good at. Start setting goals for your future. Educate yourself in the areas where you are most talented.

6. Read more

Read books that encourage personal development and motivation. Read books that teach valuable lessons for life and also books about finance, business, and other valuable skills.

7. Learn about time management

In our twenties, we feel like our time is unlimited. We sometimes waste it or misuse it. It’s important to know that the twenties are a good time to start building a career, setting goals and learning new skills.

That’s why it’s crucial to start learning about time management as early as possible and use your time wisely.
